Publication Ethics of Cakraedu: Cakrawala Edukasi Journal

Cakraedu: Cakrawala Edukasi is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. We adhere to the guidelines provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure that all parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers—maintain ethical conduct.


Authors’ Responsibilities:

  • Submit original work that has not been published and is not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Accurately cite all sources and provide proper acknowledgment.

  • Ensure the manuscript is free from any form of plagiarism.

  • Clearly state the contribution of each author listed on the manuscript.

  • Notify the editor promptly if a significant error is discovered after publication.


Editors’ Responsibilities:

  • Make publication decisions based on the quality and relevance of the manuscript.

  • Ensure a fair, unbiased, and confidential peer-review process.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and reviewer identities.

  • Avoid misuse of unpublished materials for personal or institutional benefit.


Reviewers’ Responsibilities:

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of submitted manuscripts.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the content of the manuscripts.

  • Refrain from using the manuscript content for personal gain.

  • Offer helpful feedback that contributes to improving the quality of the work.


Publisher’s Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity of the editorial and publication process.

  • Support editors and reviewers in handling ethical issues.

  • Maintain a transparent and professional publishing system.

Any breach of publication ethics will be dealt with seriously, including the rejection or retraction of published articles when necessary.
